DAY 1 HELLO WHITEHORSE!

Enjoy a private car ride to the airport. Travellers departing from the Toronto airport are assisted with their check-in. Meet your dedicated Group Guru and fellow travellers and fly to Whitehorse. Upon your arrival, our private mini coach takes you to your hotel to settle in before joining us for a welcome dinner and cocktail. Overnight in Whitehorse. (D)

DAY 2 DISCOVER WHITEHORSE

Tour Whitehorse, checking out the triple log skyscraper, the world’s largest wooden fish ladder, and the S.S. Klondike sternwheeler. Drive through Miles Canyon with its turquoise rapids. After lunch, we visit lynx, caribou and arctic foxes in the Yukon Wildlife Preserve. Overnight in Whitehorse. (B,L,D)

DAY 3 NORTH TO DAWSON CITY (532 KM)

Hop on the coach and head to Dawson City, tracing the route of the prospectors along the Klondike Highway. We’ll see Lake Laberge and try the world’s largest cinnamon buns (sweet)! In Dawson City, wander the wooden sidewalks from the Gold Rush era. Overnight in Dawson City. (B,L,D)

DAY 4 GOLD RUSH & DAWSON

Try gold panning with a local mining family before returning to town, for pictures at Dredge #4 and the Midnight Dome. Visit the Dawson City Museum, the Yukon’s largest historical collection. After dinner, we head to ‘Diamond Tooth Gerties’ for a live can-can show. Overnight in Dawson City. (B,L,D)

DAY 5 BOAT TOUR & TOMBSTONE TERRITORIAL PARK (222 KM)

Meet our local friend Tommy and set off for a Yukon River boat tour. Spend time at the old Fort Reliance and join him for Eskimo donuts and tea on his ‘Dog Island’. We then visit Tombstone Territorial Park Interpretive Centre to see stunning arctic tundra landscapes. Overnight in Dawson City. (B,L,D)

DAY 6 TOP OF THE WORLD HIGHWAY (300 KM)

Take a scenic drive towards Alaska, along the Top of The World Highway. Take in stunning views of the Ogilvie Mountains. We stop to meet our local friend Sue in Chicken, Alaska, for home-cooked lunch. Arrive in Tok before dinner, with time to explore this quirky town. Overnight in Tok. (B,L,D)

DAY 7 ALASKA HIGHWAY TO DENALI (520 KM)

Today, we board the coach for a road trip to Denali. As we drive along the scenic Alaska Highway, we stop at Rika’s Roadhouse for lunch and Santa Claus House in North Pole to say hi to ol’ Saint Nick. Arrive in Denali in time for dinner at a unique, family-owned dining room. Overnight in Denali. (B,L,D)

DAY 8 DENALI NATIONAL PARK

Before the wildlife find a resting spot to keep out of the afternoon heat in Denali National Park, we hop on an eco-friendly school bus with a guide, who takes us on a narrated journey of the park. Keep your eyes peeled for grizzlies, wolves, foxes, eagles, caribou, and tiny willow ptarmigans. Back in Denali, join us for dinner and a lighthearted ‘Cabin Nite’ show! Overnight in Denali. (B,L,D)

DAY 9 TREK TO TOK (520 KM)

Gain a new perspective on the sights of Day 7 as we drive from Denali back to Tok for the next leg of our adventure. Along the way we visit the Fairbanks Visitor Center and learn about the people, wildlife, landscapes and unique seasons of Fairbanks and Alaska at large. Overnight in Tok. (B,L,D)

DAY 10 SOLDIER’S SUMMIT & KLUANE LAKE (470 KM)

Today we cross the border and travel the Alaska Highway. Stopping at Soldier’s Summit, we learn about the opening of the old Alaska highway, and chances are good we’ll spot some Dall sheep on high in the surrounding mountains of Kluane National Park. Continue along the scenic shore of Kluane Lake before reaching Haines Junction. Overnight in Haines Junction. (B,L,D)

DAY 11 KLUANE & DA KŲ CULTURE CENTRE (238 KM)

Your morning is your oyster! Feel free to explore the endless trails of Kluane National Park, or opt to celebrate the traditions of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations in the immersive Da Kų Culture Centre. In the afternoon, we drive the traditional trail route of the Chilkat and Tinglit First Nations towards Haines. Overnight in Haines. (B,L,D)

DAY 12 CHILKAT RIVER & BALD EAGLE PRESERVE

Join your friendly naturalist-turned-captain for a jet boat tour of the Chilkat River in the Bald Eagle Preserve. With the world’s largest concentration of Bald Eagles, be prepared to see the majestic bird, as well as moose, goats, swans, and bears. Back on shore meet a range of other birds of prey cared for by the American Bald Eagle Foundation. Overnight in Haines. (B,L,D)

DAY 13 FERRY TO SKAGWAY

Begin the day with free time before boarding the ferry to Skagway. Cruise the longest and deepest fjord in North America — the Lynn Canal — as well as the gorgeous Taiya Inlet surrounded by mountains, glacier ice, cascading waterfalls and stunning wildlife. In Skagway, join our walking tour of the wooden-boardwalk-lined streets that look like they did 100 years ago! Overnight in Skagway. (B,L,D)

DAY 14 WHITE PASS RAIL & SLED DOGS (175 KM)

Ride the scenic White Pass Rail into the wilderness to Lake Bennett. In Bennett, join us for a tour of the White Pass museum, or explore this historic town on your own. This afternoon stop by the smallest desert in the world and meet a group of sled dogs. We arrive in Whitehorse in time to cap off our amazing adventure with a farewell dinner. Overnight in Whitehorse. (B,L,D)

DAY 15 HOME SWEET HOME

Fly from Whitehorse home, with a same-day arrival. Your driver will meet you at the airport to help you with your luggage and drive you home. (B)
