The Signature Italy tour was fantastic. I loved every day. It was jam packed with everything and everywhere that I wanted to see in Italy. Everything was taken care of. I just had to wake up and enjoy the day. The food at some of the hotels was not great and a couple of the hotels were also not great. But others were fantastic. I did not have a driver to take me home after arriving back in Vancouver in the middle of the night so I got squeezed in by a driver taking a travel mate to a different city. I have asked for my money back for that payment but after a week have yet to hear back. That's disappointing. And so upsetting after being exhausted by the long travel day. But I would go on another Approach tour for sure. They thought of everything. I had the time of my life.

It was an extremely enjoyable experience. Well planned so we were busy most of the time with just enough free time. The only change I would suggest is to vary the menu a little. I really like the tagine but after 17 days of tagine just about every day (and sometimes twice) I was ready for a change. My signature Italy was spectacular! The gurus were fabulous & nobody had to worry about anything as they looked after any problem that arose.

Aside from delivering on all the sights and sounds of South Africa and big game safaris, the organization of the many moving parts of this trip, beginning with our at-home airport pickup service, was seamless; the in-tour transportation, accommodations and food were great; and the guidance, expertise, and services provided to our group of 26 by tour guru Laura and South African guide Deon were outstanding (kudos to Approach for bringing these people on board for our trip). Our already high expectations for this trip were actually exceeded thanks to Approach Tours excellent organization and delivery , and the awesome company of our fellow travellers.

You can not go wrong with Approach Tours
There was a good mix of venues, staying at the Sheraton in Cairo, the River boat, and the seaside resort. This made the trip feel longer that 2 weeks. The pace was good. Our guide, Sameh, and our guru, Judy were both great. They made sure we were all included. the buses were comfortable and the drivers excellent. Sameh paid the tips so we were always able to use the bathrooms. Sameh organized everything in a very professional way, and was also very entertaining. His knowledge of Ancient Egypt is very detailed.
Our guru, Judy anticipated our needs, and was very thoughtful in everything she arranged for us.
I love everything about Approach Tours - it's my style of Travel!

As per the itinerary, we explored the major and most important sites in each City, with time to let the information sink in. and explore a bit on our own. The scenery on travel days was breathtaking, with stops along the way and time for an amazing lunch, too!
This Tour was made all the more special due to our Guru, Kamille Ayrton - who personified Approach Tours as a passionate, knowledgeable, personable, helpful, professional Leader, with a delightful sense of humor and a healthy dose of fun (and treats) thrown in for good measure. Kamille truly has a "calling" for the role of Guru, with organizational and perceptive people skills, calmness and genuine caring for the folks on tour.
Approach Tours, with the all-inclusive agenda, is the answer to my travel style and I am more than thrilled to report that I have booked my next Tour with Approach to Egypt in November, 2026 - and you may have guessed - my Guru for this upcoming trip is lovely "Kamille"! Yeah!!
I also have booked Japan in April 2027 and Iceland in Sept-Oct. 2027 - and have my fingers crossed that Kamille will be assigned to lead those Tours also.
