DAYS 1 & 2 GOODBYE CANADA, BONJOUR LYON!

Enjoy a private car ride to the airport. Fly to France and arrive in stylish Lyon, often called the culinary capital of the world. Meet your Group Guru and fellow travellers before a light orientation walk through the city, including a stop at the historic Trinity Chapel. DAY 3 MEDIEVAL PÉROUGES

After breakfast, drive north to the beautifully preserved medieval town of Pérouges. Enjoy a guided walk through narrow cobblestone streets lined with flower boxes and artisan shops. Savour a traditional French lunch before returning to Lyon for a free afternoon to stroll the markets or visit Lyon Cathedral. Dinner is served in a local restaurant. Overnight in Lyon. DAY 4 BOARD YOUR RHÔNE CRUISE

DAY 5 MÂCON: CHEESE & TRUFFLES OF BURGUNDY

Drift into Mâcon, the gateway to southern Burgundy. After breakfast on board, venture into the verdant hills to visit a family-run goat cheese farm — meet the herd and sample creamy chèvre at its freshest. DAY 8 AVIGNON COOKING CLASS

DAY 10 WELCOME TO THE FRENCH RIVIERA

DAY 11 DISCOVER NICE & MONTE CARLO

Begin this morning with a walking tour of the many pastel-hued buildings of Old Nice. Not to be outdone, the principality of Monaco will reveal its inherent Mediterranean glamour this afternoon. Enjoy free time to explore the Old Town, see the Prince’s Palace, and pause for lunch overlooking Monte Carlo’s harbour. Return to Nice for an evening of fine French dining. Overnight in Nice. DAY 12 DAY AT LEISURE IN NICE

Today is yours to savour the Riviera your way. Stroll the flower market, sample gelato by the sea or join an art walk through the Matisse Museum. Lunch in a local bistro before an evening at leisure. DAY 13 HOME SWEET HOME
