I was astounded
Loved the Santa Catalina Convent. I was astounded at seeing the Juanita Mummy up close. Very luck to see a condor (that was THE highlight for me). I also really enjoyed Lake Titicaca and walking on the floating islands, and boat ride in the reed boat –very cool.
Pisac were surprisingly stunning
Our biggest highlight was meeting the other travellers and the laughs we had together. The day on Lake Titicaca was very interesting. Machu Pichu was amazing of course but the ruins in Pisac were surprisingly stunning. Climbing up to Ollantaytambo, Puno, the necropolis of Sillustani, all of these sights were amazing. We were worried about the elevation, but the timing Approach built in to adjust was good. Thanks!

The entire trip was amazing. The day on Lake Titicaca was outstanding; Machu Picchu day – outstanding; Arequipa – great; loved time in Colca Valley & Sacred Valley. Activities where we met locals & interacted with them was great. The group size made the trip – very enjoyable & efficient – can’t imagine being in a bigger group. Overall this was an outstanding trip!! So happy we booked this trip with you – felt well cared for & safe. Plus great guides & got to see main highlights in each area we went to.

I have been traveling solo for 15 years and this trip with Approach Tours has been my most memorable. Our group was certainly like family and as for Joe, our guide, to say the least was the kindest and most helpful of all gurus. We enjoyed our meals and free time together and the magnificence of Machu Picchu was beyond my wildest dreams. The Spanish guides were excellent too, and I actually added some words to my vocabulary.
