DAYS 1 & 2 GOODBYE CANADA, HOLA SPAIN!

Enjoy a private car ride to the airport. Travellers departing from the Toronto airport are assisted with their check-in. Meet your dedicated Group Guru and fellow travellers in Toronto before flying to Madrid. Upon your arrival, our luxury coach takes you to your hotel to settle in, before enjoying a light lunch and afternoon at your leisure. Enjoy a welcome cocktail before dinner at the hotel. DAYS 3 TREASURES OF MADRID

Kick off your day with a panoramic tour of Madrid. Explore the old town by foot, soaking in its charming streets lined with lively street performances. Learn about the Neoclassical Puerta de Alcalá and bustling Mayor Plaza, before indulging in Spanish delights at a local restaurant. DAY 4 TOUR TOLEDO (415 KM)

Embark on a walking tour of Toledo’s historic old town, checking out the Gothic Toledo Cathedral and City Hall. Around each corner you’ll find artisan shops showcasing traditional craftsmanship and metalwork. Pass through the old Jewish Quarter before uncovering the treasures inside of St. Tome Church. DAY 5 DISCOVER CORDOBA

Immerse yourself in Cordoba’s rich tapestry during our morning walking tour. With each step weave between traditional Castile-style squares lined with sandstone and surrounded by ornate homes and shops topped with terracotta. Explore the Great Mosque-Cathedral, a unique blend of Islamic and Christian architecture. Following lunch, take the afternoon to explore this diverse city at your leisure. Overnight in Cordoba. DAY 6 ROAD TO SEVILLA (145 KM)

Embark on a journey to Sevilla, where you’ll pass through the sandy, arid terrains of the Andalusia region, dotted with lush olive and orange orchards. After checking into your hotel and enjoying lunch, spend the afternoon at your leisure wandering through Sevilla’s narrow streets, past whitewashed buildings and welcoming “terrazas” (terrace restaurants). DAY 7 EXPLORING SEVILLA

Today is dedicated to the many influences that have shaped the millennia-long history of Sevilla. Begin with the Cathedral of Sevilla: a one-time Moorish Mosque turned into the world’s largest Gothic Cathedral. Next, visit the Real Alcázar, and feel like royalty strolling past its many internal courtyards, reflection pools, and vibrant gardens. DAY 8 THE ALHAMBRA (398 KM)

Our discovery of diverse architecture in Spain continues today with the Alhambra. Spend the morning discovering each section of this complex, including the instantly recognizable Nasrid Palaces, the Alcazaba fortification, and the summer palace. DAY 9 MÁLAGA MUSE

Málaga is more than just sparkling beaches and mouth-watering seafood. Picasso’s birthplace overflows with the same art and festivals that inspired his youth. DAY 10 MELLOW MÁLAGA

Savour this full day of leisure in Málaga doing as much or as little as you like. DAY 11 ROAD TO VALENCIA (629 KM)

This morning depart for Valencia, Spain’s third-largest city that stands equal parts in the past and future. Medieval relics and cobblestone-lined streets stand next to modern complexes and a local tech start-up scene. Arrive in Valencia where you will check into your hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 12 VALENCIA & PAELLA COOKING

Begin your day with a tour of Valencia, including the futuristic City of Arts & Sciences, the bustling Columbus Market, and the Art Nouveau North Station. Continue to the old town to discover the role it’s played in Valencian life since the Middle Ages. DAY 13 EXPLORING BARCELONA (349 KM)

DAY 14 GAUDÍ’S BARCELONA

Antoni Gaudí’s architectural style, making use of nature-inspired forms, bright colors, and intricate detailing, is on full display as we tour Passeig de Gràcia. Take a quick Gaudí break with tours to the modern Olympic Port, Barceloneta, and the Gothic Quarter. After lunch, dive back with visits to Gaudí’s most-notable contributions: the Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell. Enjoy a farewell dinner this evening. Overnight in Barcelona. (B,L,D) View image gallery
