Solo Italy, Everything Included and Zero Stress
My experience with Approach Tours was second to none. A friend recommended them when I said I wanted to tour Italy with a group as a solo traveler. I loved that everything was included, like meals and educational tours, and I only bought a few gifts and souvenirs. It was upbeat and very well organized, and the leaders looked after everyone’s needs. There was also free time to explore on my own, with flexible, beautifully scheduled tours and activities. The tour buses were comfortable and had great views of the countryside, towns, and cities. We had a WhatsApp group to stay in touch and share info and photos and we’re still in it after the trip. We also had very little waiting for things like boats and places like the Vatican. Thank you to Rasha (our guru), Antonella (our guide from Venice), and even the skilled Amalfi Coast drivers. Everyone helped make my first Italy trip so memorable.

Safe, Easy Solo Travel With Everything Included

Solo in Italy and Never Felt Alone
This tour was fabulous from start to finish! The tone was set by our wonderful travel guru, Kamille. She was very attentive to everyone’s needs and was always upbeat and fun! I was a solo traveller and sure did not feel out of place ever! All the places we visited, the things we did at each place and the accommodations were terrific. Thailand Made Easy, Safe, and Ridiculously Fun
My Thailand trip in November with Approach Tours was one of the best vacations I’ve taken. I went as a solo lady and was totally comfortable. We had six single ladies and about six couples, and it was so much fun. Our guru Annette was amazing, like a second mom (lol). The hotels were top notch and the buffet breakfasts were great. Every dealing I had with Approach staff was easy and professional. I’m looking to book my next vacation in 2026 with Approach.
Solo Portugal, Smooth Days and Amazing Moments
I just finished an Approach Tour of Portugal (Oct. 3–18/25) as a solo traveller. Our group’s ages ranged from 58 to 81 years old, and the limo pickup was a big help. Scott and local guide Amelia worked seamlessly to keep everything running smoothly, with clear updates via WhatsApp and in person. The heat (28–31°C) plus cobblestones made the walking days more challenging, but the guides and fellow travellers looked out for each other. The itinerary was wonderfully varied with great landscapes, local foods and delicious desserts. The Whisper system worked well, though I’d bring my own comfortable earpiece next time. Long days at the start, but overall an amazing trip.
Vietnam and Cambodia, All-Inclusive Value Done Right
I recently traveled solo for the first time and chose Approach Tours because of its all-inclusive pricing for Vietnam and Cambodia. Terrific value for money, with many add-ons at no extra cost. First Solo Group Tour and Egypt Was Incredible
This was my first group tour and also travelling solo for the first time. The trip guru, Christiane, went out of her way to make sure I was included in all activities with everyone in the group in this most magnificent Egypt and Nile River Tour. Bucket List Africa, Handled Beautifully From Day One
This was truly a trip of a lifetime. I’d always wanted to see Africa, but as a single, nervous first-time tour traveller, I didn’t know where to start. Approach’s South Africa and Victoria Falls itinerary had everything I wanted, and the fact that everything was included made it so easy. When KLM cancelled our first flight leg the day before departure, Approach quickly rebooked us for the next day, and our guru Karin kept us updated. Thanks to Deon, our tour guide, we didn’t miss anything and the schedule was adjusted so smoothly. Accommodations were fantastic, from top hotels to glamping and a private game reserve. Deon shared so much history and culture, and he and Karin made a great team. It’s hard to pick a favourite, but seeing elephants up close and ticking almost everything on my bucket list, including most of the Big 5, was unforgettable. I made 30 new friends and will always treasure the memories.
Solo Traveller Dream Trip to Ireland, Fully Taken Care Of
After 30 years of dreaming, I finally made it to Ireland at 70 with Approach Tours. I travelled solo but never felt alone, and I even booked my own room. From the very start, Cristiana made everything stress-free with WhatsApp check-ins, clear airport meet-up info, and thoughtful details that helped the group connect. The trip exceeded every expectation: clean, interesting hotels, delicious food, and a guide (Ray) who shared stories and history with great humour. Our driver Leo kept us safe on those narrow roads. Best part? The group looked out for each other, and with everything included, I only spent money on souvenirs and the odd refreshment.
Africa Delivered, With Care You Can Actually Feel
I’ve traveled solo before with other tour agencies and have to say Approach is at the top. I loved that we had excellent local guides, with Deon being one of the best, plus Kamilla as our tour guru throughout, making sure we were taken care of no matter what. Accommodations, food, and flights were what I expected, but what I came to see was Africa and they absolutely delivered. The itinerary is busy, and the safaris got us incredibly close, sometimes only 15 feet from the animals. Truly a trip of a lifetime, and I’m grateful I shared it with the group I did.
Truly Supported With Dietary Needs and Care
This was my first solo trip since my husband’s passing and I was nervous. Approach Tours paired me with a lovely lady and she couldn’t have been a better roommate. One of the main reasons I chose Approach Tours was because they guaranteed to meet my dietary needs. I’m vegan and Celiac which is not always easy to accommodate. Our Travel Guru Cristiana made sure my meals met my needs every time. She always watched over us and ensured no one was ever left behind. Our Travel Guide Ray was so knowledgeable and kind. He even helped me make an unscheduled stop in order that I could spread some of my husband’s ashes. This meant the world to me! We all fell in love with our driver Leo who was so jolly and quick with a joke. All in all my Tour Of Ireland was outstanding!
Morocco Was Flawless, and I Came Home With Friends
I had the pure pleasure of going to Morocco Oct 1 to the 17. I traveled solo but never felt alone. Everyone on this tour got along like old friends. The entire trip was impeccably planned. Our guru Alex Marafonov was fantastic, and our local guide Mostafa organized our arrival at the various stops perfectly. All the hotels (except one) were perfect. I would not hesitate to take another trip with Approach.
First Time Alone, Felt Included Every Day
This was my first trip with Approach and my first time travelling alone. South Africa and Victoria Falls was absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t change a thing. Peru Beyond Machu Picchu, Seamless and Unforgettable
I’ll admit I was skeptical about an “all-inclusive” tour, but I ended up traveling solo and I’m glad I took the chance. This was a well-organized trip from start to finish. Machu Picchu was magical, but Peru offered so much more too: Lima, Arequipa, Colca Canyon and condor viewing, the Altiplano, Lake Titicaca and its reed islands, plus plenty of other archaeological sites (and lots of camelid sightings). Our Group Guru, Cristiana Marra, brought nonstop energy and kept everyone hydrated, nourished, and accounted for, especially as we climbed to higher altitudes. The local guides were excellent and shared tons of insight. Everything ran smoothly, the buses and hotels were comfortable, and the dining choices introduced us to great Peruvian food. Add in a fantastic group of fellow travellers, and it made for a truly marvellous two weeks. I’d recommend Approach Tours to anyone wanting an easy, well-run way to experience Peru.
