Treasures of Croatia & the Balkans

We loved the free time available at each city. This allowed us time to explore further areas of interest. Visits to Dubrovnik, Kotor, Plitvice, and Ljubljana were highlights. Also the selection of local restaurants were highly appreciated!

Our highlights were Lake Bled, the outstanding hotel at Opatija, the trip to Havar island, walking along the wall at Dubrovnik…Too many wonderful sights and experiences! There was not a single day that did not have a memorable sight.

Just returned from an incredible trip to Croatia with Approach. The destinations were breathtaking! From the charming coastal towns to the ancient city walls of Dubrovnik, every view was mesmerizing. The Plitvice Lakes National Park was a nature lover’s paradise. The tour guides were knowledgeable, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend traveling with Approach tours for an unforgettable Croatian adventure!

The whole Approach team that we interacted with before the tour gets a gold star for its communication and responsiveness.  Everyone was friendly and prompt in their response. Loved the Tunnel of Hope excursion in Sarajevo, the climb of the Great Wall of Ston Fortress, the lunch tapas and wine tasting at the winery, the hike in the Plitvice National Park and the caves and Lake Bled excursions in Slovenia. Thank you for a great vacation…thoroughly enjoyed the majority of the tour.

Super satisfied – we have seen & done wonderful sights & had experiences beyond our expectations. The special event things (truffles, chocolate, champagne-persecco party, etc) were the cherry on top! And we are not novice travellers. A friend in “the business” prides herself on tours for travellers not tourists. She is now retired. You are filling the gap!

I toured with Approach to Croatia and the Balkans and thoroughly enjoyed it! I was picked up by Lincoln Town car at my door and taken to the airport and picked up and driven home on arrival back in my city. We flew from Ottawa to the take-off city of Toronto for $100. The tour was thorough, covering 4 countries, plus a few islands. An excellent guide accompanied us all the way. She was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. All in all a great adventure!

Back a few weeks ago from Croatia. What a wonderful trip! As travel kits, we got nice backpacks filled with little gifts needed for such a trip. The book informed us of everything we needed to know regarding weather, itinerary, travel tips, etc. I’m still bragging about it to friends who may just experience it for themselves. Chauffeured to and from the airport and best of all, they paid the tips everywhere which is a great relief for all travellers. Hotels, especially food, excellent. Good job Approach! We may see you next year.
